In September this year we will begin construction work on the Sage College sports complex on the site adjacent to the school. This plot, of approximately 20,000 square metres, will include an 11-a-side football pitch of FIFA regulation size, an athletics track of 4 + 2 lanes and 400 metres of rope, two multi-sports courts which will be used as school playgrounds (Phase 1), an indoor swimming pool and a building which will serve the facilities and which will include changing rooms, toilets, storage rooms, reception and first aid facilities (Phase 2 and 3). The works will be carried out over the next 5 years, as the number of pupils at the school increases, and will be split into three phases. Work on the first phase is expected to start in late September or early October of this academic year, with fencing, water and electricity supplies and sports fields/playgrounds to be completed. This phase is expected be completed in Spring 2023. In the second and third phases, the changing rooms´ building, the swimming pool and car park will be completed.
En Septiembre del presente curso iniciaremos las obras de construcción del Complejo Deportivo Sage College en la parcela anexa a la del colegio. Dicha parcela, de unos 20.000 metros cuadrados aproximadamente, contará con un campo de fútbol 11 de medidas FIFA reglamentarias, una pista de atletismo de 4 + 2 calles y 400 metros de cuerda, dos pistas polideportivas que se emplearán como patios del colegio (fase 1), una piscina cubierta y un edificio que dará servicio a las instalaciones y que contará con vestuarios, aseos, almacenes, recepción y botiquín (Fase 2 y 3). El plazo de ejecución de las obras se realizará a lo largo de los próximos 5 años, a medida que el número de alumnos del colegio aumenta y se dividirá en tres fases. El inicio de obras de la primera fase se prevé para finales de septiembre o principios de octubre del presente curso en la que se realizarán los cercados, acometidas y los patios/campos deportivos. Dicha fase estará completada en la primavera de 2023.
